The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, StrikerS™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Ornelas to maneuver through the defense. After 4 played minutes, C.A Vientos Huracanados's Americo Efraim shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Idalécio Rego came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.A Vientos Huracanados reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Nogueira in the 7th minute of play forced C.A Vientos Huracanados's goalkeeper Hugo Chumo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to StrikerS™ getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Aristides Fragoso hit a great ball. Idalécio Rego was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ubaldo Gervaso. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Prudencio Fortun managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A Vientos Huracanados's supporters rose to their feet, but Prudencio Fortun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Idalécio Rego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute Higinio Cesaro suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Ramiro Ornelas fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored StrikerS™'s protests and gave Ramiro Ornelas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, StrikerS™'s Ramiro Ornelas got a free kick in the 19th minute. Ubaldo Gervaso, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Flávio Perdigão sped through C.A Vientos Huracanados's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hugo Chumo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flávio Perdigão in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Chumo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabino Araújo in the 38th minute of play forced C.A Vientos Huracanados's goalkeeper Hugo Chumo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Chumo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabino Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 43 minutes into the match, StrikerS™'s goalkeeper Idalécio Rego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristides Federigo. StrikerS™ were furious when Durval Bulhosa was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, StrikerS™'s Durval Bulhosa got a free kick in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Prudencio Fortun to strike the kick off in the second half. If Aristides Federigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.A Vientos Huracanados's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Flávio Perdigão scored to the left of an out of position Hugo Chumo, making the score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, StrikerS™'s Aristides Fragoso got a free kick in the 59th minute. A collision led to StrikerS™ getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Valdemar Vigário hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute Apolo Lope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Idalécio Rego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th match minute, StrikerS™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Fragoso to maneuver through the defense. Idalécio Rego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Federigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Flávio Perdigão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th match minute, StrikerS™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álvaro Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. StrikerS™'s Idalécio Rego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Lope in the 77th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Apolo Lope cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Idalécio Rego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 82nd match minute, StrikerS™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Vigário to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Chumo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio Perdigão, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The supporters of StrikerS™ booed when C.A Vientos Huracanados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Gonsalve didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in C.A Vientos Huracanados's zone, Albérico Santarém stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Chumo came out of the goal and Albérico Santarém tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
