Kristian Beckenbauer's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nelsinho Nascimento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Guará FC's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Nelsinho Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldão Paulista charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 28th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nelsinho Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 32nd minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Antal Valentin made a precise shot to the right of Nelsinho Nascimento. Guará FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guará FC's Nelsinho Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takacs Tibor in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Boros Benedek hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiago Gabriel Vieira made a kick off. Guará FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Antal Valentin scored to the left of an out of position Nelsinho Nascimento, making the score, 1-3. With a little luck, Guará FC's Nelsinho Nascimento got control of the ball when Balazs Lajos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score was now 1-5. Hegedus Henrik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. After 76 played minutes, Guará FC's Zé Pedro Baiano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fodor Daniel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guará FC reached it. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Nelsinho Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 minutes, Reginaldo Albuquerque mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guará FC and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guará FC made a substitution. Ernani Pirani replaced Makan Baksø. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Nelsinho Nascimento in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hungary played a much better game than Guará FC and deserved their victory. The Guará FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
