When Jordan Radojević fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guará FC's protests and gave Jordan Radojević a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Tiago Gabriel Vieira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albin Holweck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nelsinho Nascimento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Guará FC got a freekick which was hit by Jordan Radojević. A collision led to Guará FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Harold Willson hit a great ball. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Tiago Gabriel Vieira sent off a good shot on target. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albin Holweck couldn't finish the play. In the 48th minute, Kristian Beckenbauer made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Nelsinho Nascimento in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 56 minutes into the game, Makan Baksø cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Guará FC's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelsinho Nascimento came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 65 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Pedro Baiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th match minute, Guará FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harold Willson to maneuver through the defense. Frank Sachs in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nelsinho Nascimento, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 81st minute Makan Baksø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Makan Baksø cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guará FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernani Pirani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Guará FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
