In the 70th minute Seyfettin Erem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Peletier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Tamer Geylan made a huge save. 73 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Andrzej Juskowiak came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
