The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The throw-in from Freddy Quintyn in the 5th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Hipolito Misael. Máximo Kirchner hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Garcia in the 9th minute of play forced Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Jonatan Eguzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horácio Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Unidad de Matanza's Jonatan Eguzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Garcia in the 11th minute of play. Jonatan Eguzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Michal Stehno took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emanuel Podgoreanu. Horácio Garcia struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Jonatan Eguzki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acercate Y Patea de Lejos. With his leg Emanuel Podgoreanu managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Unidad de Matanza's Eustacio Ortzi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Unidad de Matanza's Jonatan Eguzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Garcia in the 38th minute of play. Emanuel Podgoreanu made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Michal Stehno sent off a good shot on target. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Emanuel Podgoreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Máximo Kirchner in the 44th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Horácio Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's supporters rose to their feet, but Horácio Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonatan Eguzki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Feng Xu Yong hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horácio Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Podgoreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Orlin in the 53rd minute of play. Jonatan Eguzki made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Horácio Garcia sent off a good shot on target. Emanuel Podgoreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Stehno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Podgoreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Stehno in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute Michal Stehno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Podgoreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Máximo Kirchner in the 88th minute of play forced Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goalkeeper Emanuel Podgoreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eustacio Ortzi was slow to take the kick. During this time Unidad de Matanza's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Tartalo got free with Jonatan Eguzki in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Unidad de Matanza had played much better football throughout.
