After 7 minutes DINAMO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ricardinho Pena who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in DINAMO's zone, Aníbal Alagoano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ysmael Marfil came out of the goal and Aníbal Alagoano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jenipapo SC's Karl Pilgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Borcz in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match DINAMO got a corner. Jenipapo SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leonard Demian ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 13 played minutes Jenipapo SC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Carlos Monteiro. 16 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Alagoano came free, but Ysmael Marfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Régis Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Régis Ferreira in the 22nd minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aníbal Alagoano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ysmael Marfil came out and tried to block the shot, but Aníbal Alagoano slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 23rd minute. 30 minutes into the game, Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 34th minute Régis Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aníbal Alagoano in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ysmael Marfil, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ysmael Marfil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Régis Ferreira in the 37th minute of play. After 43 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Henric Casas. Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aníbal Alagoano made a kick off. Ysmael Marfil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Régis Ferreira went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 56 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Alagoano came free, but Ysmael Marfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57thth minute of the game Aníbal Alagoano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alex Fința hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Leonard Demian hit a great ball. DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Régis Ferreira in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Maurício Arósio fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by DINAMO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ricardinho Pena was slow to take the kick. During this time Jenipapo SC's players had a chance to rest. Dylan Browne made a great header on Jenipapo SC's corner, it was just that DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil managed to reach the ball for a save. Aníbal Alagoano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ysmael Marfil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. After 75 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Henric Casas. When Ricardinho Pena came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Jenipapo SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardinho Pena couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the game, Ryszard Borcz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karl Pilgren. Ryszard Borcz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 80th minute of play. If Aníbal Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Aníbal Alagoano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ysmael Marfil was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Ysmael Marfil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 97 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Alagoano came free, but Ysmael Marfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jenipapo SC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
