The coaching staff of Club Atlético Atlanta protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ciro Ferdinand had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 14th minute, one of Club Atlético Atlanta:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Atlético Atlanta. Club Atlético Atlanta:s Pankracy Glogowski showed great skill when he stopped Roman Ubelteso:s penalty. 22 minutes into the match, San Martin de Tucumán's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Berdoi came free, but Henry Carrasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Koroğlu Äbdilov took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pankracy Glogowski. Pankracy Glogowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 27th minute San Martin de Tucumán were awarded a corner. Roman Ubelteso went to the cornerflag to take it. Koroğlu Äbdilov came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pankracy Glogowski could save by the left post. In the 34th minute, Roman Ubelteso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcos Berdoi scored 1-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henry Carrasco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elvio Ramond could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Pankracy Glogowski made a huge save.
The wind increased when Marcos Berdoi made the kick off in the second half. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Ubelteso in the 50th minute of play. Pankracy Glogowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koroğlu Äbdilov in the 51st minute of the match. Pankracy Glogowski came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by San Martin de Tucumán's 邵威伟. But to his dismay, 邵威伟 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 62nd match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şevket Çağa to maneuver through the defense. Roman Ubelteso's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Atlanta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roman Ubelteso helped the player get up and apologised. After 63 played minutes San Martin de Tucumán got a freekick which was hit by Roman Ubelteso. Elvio Ramond charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elvio Ramond the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when San Martin de Tucumán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Ramond didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 minutes of play, San Martin de Tucumán's Roman Ubelteso made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pankracy Glogowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Marcos Berdoi fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Atlanta's protests and gave Marcos Berdoi a yellow card for diving instead. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Berdoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pankracy Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Lia, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. San Martin de Tucumán's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roman Ubelteso in the 80th minute. It was a well-played corner which Elvio Ramond managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 93rd minute Marcos Berdoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Carrasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pankracy Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Gorri, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. San Martin de Tucumán's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
