Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Atlanta from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Apocalypto's Armando Pasquarelli got a free kick in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Apocalypto's goal looked a bit too open when Şevket Çağa came free, but Eugenio Schirru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Apocalypto getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Armando Pasquarelli hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Apocalypto's zone, Şevket Çağa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Schirru came out of the goal and Şevket Çağa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19thth minute of the game Şevket Çağa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Apocalypto's Eugenio Schirru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Atlanta's zone, Arturo Munno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pankracy Glogowski came out of the goal and Arturo Munno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şevket Çağa in the 30th minute of play forced Apocalypto's goalkeeper Eugenio Schirru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Schirru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şevket Çağa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustaquio Jaizki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Schirru having to interfere. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Atlanta defense, Chico Paulista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pankracy Glogowski. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pankracy Glogowski should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Arturo Munno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Apocalypto's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Munno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pankracy Glogowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Apocalypto's Armando Pasquarelli got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Eugenio Schirru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Şevket Çağa's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Eustaquio Jaizki took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugenio Schirru. Eugenio Schirru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The Apocalypto players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atlético Atlanta were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chico Paulista was the one to do the kick off. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Munno in the 60th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Eustaquio Jaizki could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Eugenio Schirru however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Apocalypto's Eugenio Schirru got control of the ball when Şevket Çağa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Club Atlético Atlanta's Remigio Erramu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eugenio Schirru in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Club Atlético Atlanta's Paolo Caradaro pulled a muscle in his back after 74 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Apocalypto's Davide Cavaliere got a free kick in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Jaizki in the 77th minute of play forced Apocalypto's goalkeeper Eugenio Schirru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Rosendo Cutberto hit a great ball. Şevket Çağa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Eugenio Schirru skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Club Atlético Atlanta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emil Chwalkiewicz in the 92nd minute. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Rosendo Cutberto got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Apocalypto fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Atlético Atlanta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
