In the 20th minute, San Mauro A Mare FC's Tony Rosa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Washington de Lara. Washington de Lara yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Levent Hicran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Washington de Lara having to interfere. Washington de Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Rosa in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, San Mauro A Mare FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Tasso came free, but Rogério Mitovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tony Rosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Washington de Lara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tirense F.C.'s zone, Francesco Cremonese stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Washington de Lara came out of the goal and Francesco Cremonese tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, San Mauro A Mare FC's Levent Hicran ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Washington de Lara. Washington de Lara yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Levent Hicran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Washington de Lara having to make a save. Tirense F.C.'s André Maraschin was substituted for Hacı Demirdelen.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Levent Hicran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tirense F.C.'s Washington de Lara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Levent Hicran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Washington de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Levent Hicran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, San Mauro A Mare FC's Levent Hicran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Washington de Lara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Washington de Lara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Serafo Tome's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Washington de Lara was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Dinu Dobre stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Washington de Lara. 5-0.
