GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Guang Chen in the 9th minute of play. Betão Pontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yu Guang Chen's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Betão Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben-Ami Gol in the 11th minute of play. After 12 minutes GKS Katowice's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jairo Eneko who took care of the corner kick. Dário Tepedino made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Lucjan Werra sent off a good shot on target. Betão Pontes came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Barreal FC's Ben-Ami Gol. But to his dismay, Ben-Ami Gol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 19 minutes into the game, Eugeniusz Jaktorowo threw the ball into play from the sideline. GKS Katowice's Cezary Kasiewski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Betão Pontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yu Guang Chen's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After 25 minutes, Ben-Ami Gol made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dário Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Werra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Betão Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yu Guang Chen in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Barreal FC's Ben-Ami Gol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Betão Pontes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. The Barreal FC fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Barreal FC's Ben-Ami Gol looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 38 minutes, Ben-Ami Gol made it 1-6 with a short kick to the right side. GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Barreal FC's Ben-Ami Gol in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After the first half Barreal FC were leading 1-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucjan Werra made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Joakim Giliusson threw the ball into play from the sideline. GKS Katowice's Patryk Cymbal quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Yu Guang Chen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Betão Pontes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Barreal FC fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Barreal FC's Pablo-Enrique Scholes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as Barreal FC's Yu Guang Chen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Betão Pontes. That made the score 2-11 after 69 minutes of play. Betão Pontes made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Ben-Ami Gol sent off a good shot on target. Yu Guang Chen in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Betão Pontes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 81st minute, Olgierd Sokolski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GKS Katowice's Ludomir Zacharek was substituted for Cezary Kasiewski. In a very dangerous position, a player in GKS Katowice fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Betão Pontes, was totally fooled by Barreal FC's Jairo Eneko, who 94 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some careless play in the GKS Katowice defense, Ben-Ami Gol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Betão Pontes. The GKS Katowice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Betão Pontes should have stopped the shot. The Barreal FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Barreal FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
