With a left leg Rogério Mitovski saved San Mauro A Mare FC from getting behind. After having played for 14 minutes, Sergio Mustafa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Mustafa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabinho Bastos made in the 33rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Isaac Incendio. When Fabinho Bastos fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Mauro A Mare FC's protests and gave Fabinho Bastos a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Levent Hicran in the 38th minute of play forced C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goalkeeper Alfredinho Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in C.U.E. DE COMERCIO fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Levent Hicran made the kick off in the second half. Sergio Mustafa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Rogério Mitovski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredinho Gerber stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serafo Tome's shot from short distance in the 95th minute.
