Washington de Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafo Tome in the 6th minute of play. The San Mauro A Mare FC fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when San Mauro A Mare FC's Levent Hicran looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tirense F.C.'s Washington de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Levent Hicran in the 10th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Levent Hicran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Washington de Lara was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Tony Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Washington de Lara having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Levent Hicran put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Washington de Lara. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Levent Hicran in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Washington de Lara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rogério Mitovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito Tasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Levent Hicran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Washington de Lara was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. When Vito Tasso fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. San Mauro A Mare FC's Rogério Mitovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Tasso in the 36th minute of play. Washington de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Washington de Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Levent Hicran, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 42 minutes of play, Tirense F.C.'s 曾辉宁 made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogério Mitovski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Maraschin to make the kick off. Zhu Yun Bins short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Washington de Lara to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 79thth minute of the game Armin Berardini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tirense F.C.'s Washington de Lara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tirense F.C.'s zone, Serafo Tome stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Washington de Lara came out of the goal and Serafo Tome tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adrian Onbera kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Alberto Sforza's late challenge caught a Tirense F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Sforza helped the player get up and apologised. Alberto Sforza hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. San Mauro A Mare FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
