In the 5th minute, Ercole Fiorentino made a precise shot to the right of Orestis Karnezis. HISPANO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Alberigo Di Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orestis Karnezis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberigo Di Franco in the 12th minute of the match. A.S. Udinese's Alvaro Rotili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Landon Gordon in the 14th minute of play. Orestis Karnezis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ercole Fiorentino in the 15th minute. After 16 played minutes A.S. Udinese got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Maranzano. 21 minutes in the game Billy Åkerström did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Pastor Cambranes. After a rather tough play, A.S. Udinese's Edmondo Giorda got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 28 minutes into the match, A.S. Udinese's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Cambranes came free, but Alvaro Rotili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Udinese's Alvaro Rotili proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save A.S. Udinese from getting a goal against them.
