Gong Jun Feng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 郭青森 in the 8th minute of play. 陆坚思 made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Iulian Pietreanu sent off a good shot on target. Gigel Horhoianu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gigel Horhoianu got free with 陆坚思 in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, 拜耳04勒沃库森's 楚文洋 got a free kick in the 13th minute. The audience was convinced that Iulian Pietreanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 陆坚思 was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After some careless play in the 拜耳04勒沃库森 defense, Wilson Arósio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 陆坚思. The 拜耳04勒沃库森 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 陆坚思 should have stopped the shot. 陆坚思 came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Iulian Pietreanu. But to his dismay, Iulian Pietreanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 陆坚思 was a little too slow when Gigel Horhoianu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 3-0. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Gong Jun Feng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 柯镇云 in the 27th minute of play. 陆坚思 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Horhoianu, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Petrică Cândreanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 柯镇云 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Gong Jun Feng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Arósio to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 54th minute Iulian Pietreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 陆坚思 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If 柯镇云 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Gigel Horhoianu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's supporters rose to their feet, but Gigel Horhoianu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 陆坚思 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
