Fabio Auer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marvin Harrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 9 minutes of play, Kentucky Mustangs's Jack Agnes made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Auer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabio Auer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Agnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, one of Austria:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Austria. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Gao Lang Feng got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 22nd minute, Tracy Brunson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Auer was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 28th minute of the match Dwight Manning sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabio Auer skillfully saved the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Kentucky Mustangs's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Galishoff came free, but Stanford Peters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kentucky Mustangs's Jack Agnes got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marvin Harrer kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Fabio Auer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jack Agnes in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes into the game, Kentucky Mustangs's Jack Agnes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Auer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jack Agnes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Austria getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Fabio Schneider hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Austria's zone, Jack Agnes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Auer came out of the goal and Jack Agnes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Austria booed when Kentucky Mustangs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Cunningham didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Jonas Nalder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Marco van Zijderveld managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kentucky Mustangs's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco van Zijderveld was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Auer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jack Agnes struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Fabio Auer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kentucky Mustangs. Tracy Brunson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Auer having to interfere. Jonas Nalder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Stanford Peters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kentucky Mustangs made a substitution. Brady Rouse replaced Jose Cunningham. Fabio Auer came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Kentucky Mustangs's Jack Agnes. But to his dismay, Jack Agnes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Nico Waismann hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Tracy Brunson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Fabio Auer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Jack Agnes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kentucky Mustangs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 90th match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Kronecker to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Jack Agnes made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. In the 94th minute, Jack Agnes made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kentucky Mustangs fans cheered their team off the field, for while Austria had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
