Leighton Davies kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Cox in the 16th minute of play forced Moose FC's goalkeeper Jake Kitchen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norberto Ott's late challenge caught a England's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moose FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave England the free kick. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the match, England's Kyle Cox sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jake Kitchen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jake Kitchen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Micah Macdonald in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to Moose FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Mitch Marleau made the kick off in the second half. Caelan Hayes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jake Kitchen having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, England's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Weiss came free, but Khalid Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moose FC's Jake Kitchen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the game, Moose FC's Isaias Weiss nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Khalid Kennedy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.
