Austria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave São José E. C. the free kick. In the 4th minute, Nico Waismann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, 胡思朋 managed to get in a good position for a shot. São José E. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but 胡思朋 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Auer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Austria's zone, 胡思朋 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Auer came out of the goal and 胡思朋 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafael Riedl charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael Riedl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of São José E. C. booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Riedl didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, São José E. C.'s Fabio Auer threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 胡思朋, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Austria's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luís Gustavo Paraíba was slow to take the kick. During this time São José E. C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led to São José E. C.'s Zé Vaz getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Marc Kronecker charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Fabio Auer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. São José E. C.'s attentive Luís Gustavo Paraíba managed to snatch the ball when Jonas Nalder made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. In the 24th minute, 胡思朋 made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If 胡思朋 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Austria booed when São José E. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steff Tholand didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Nico Waismann in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by São José E. C.'s Steff Tholand. Fabio Auer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Fabio Auer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 胡思朋 in the 35th minute of the match. After having played for 40 minutes, Zé Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. São José E. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Vaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When São José E. C.'s 胡思朋 in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Austria's goalie prevented a goal. São José E. C.'s Steff Tholand quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nico Waismann, made in the 46th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sandro Galishoff made the kick off in the second half. São José E. C.'s Steff Tholand managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nico Waismann in the 60 minute of the game. 62 minutes into the match, Austria's goal looked a bit too open when Franciszek Kiewra came free, but Fabio Auer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Riedl. 66 minutes into the match, São José E. C.'s Luís Gustavo Paraíba broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Nico Waismann made in the 68th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by São José E. C.'s Steff Tholand. In the 81st minute, Nico Waismann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Schneider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Luiz Paulo Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franciszek Kiewra in the 87th minute of play forced Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. São José E. C.'s Steff Tholand managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nico Waismann in the 88 minute of the game. 92 minutes into the match, Franciszek Kiewra notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Austria's Fabio Auer. Fabio Auer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. São José E. C.'s Luís Gustavo Paraíba managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jonas Nalder in the 95 minute of the game. 胡思朋's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Auer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. São José E. C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
