Khalid Kennedy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Bastia went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Fabio Betadur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 17th minute of play. Khalid Kennedy was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Silverio Cidro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Silverio Cidro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. David Bastia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Khalid Kennedy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee showed Honorato Chap the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caelan Hayes during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of LA DEL MONO booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caelan Hayes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 41 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Cooper Thompson. If Kyle Cox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyle Cox was the one to do the kick off. Fabio Betadur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kyle Cox's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Aaron Anselmino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LA DEL MONO's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
