Cosimo Mascia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's Clovis Hénot got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's Cosimo Mascia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 24th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noureddine Sanchis to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Noureddine Sanchis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Casper Claes. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edward Vanderstraeten in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosimo Mascia saved LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO from getting behind. 41 minutes into the match, LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Cosimo Mascia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillaume Bonte to maneuver through the defense. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edward Vanderstraeten to make the kick off. Edward Vanderstraetens short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Cosimo Mascia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cosimo Mascia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. When Siebe Michiels came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Belgium fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Siebe Michiels couldn't finish the play. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clovis Hénot in the 62nd minute of play. Cosimo Mascia came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's Haakon Taankvist was substituted for Nelson Rufino. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noureddine Sanchis in the 78th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's Cosimo Mascia got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 84th minute of play forced LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's goalkeeper Cosimo Mascia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosimo Mascia had great luck who in the 95thth minute grab hold of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the last second Cosimo Mascia throw himself and got hold of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten in the 95thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post.
