But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 龙振奕 couldn't finish the play. In the 25th match minute, Gary Ingram was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 潘剑响 to maneuver through the defense. 陆永谦 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Schneider, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 罗远飞 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabio Auer came out and tried to block the shot, but 罗远飞 slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 32nd minute. A hard shot 34 in the game by 龙振奕 from a close distance when the talented Fabio Auer managed to make a qualified save. Austria's players were relieved. 36 minutes into the game, Emil Seidler threw the ball into play from the sideline. Gary Ingram's 潘剑响 quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 潘剑响 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Fabio Auer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, 白挺辉 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 罗远飞 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabio Auer came out and tried to block the shot, but 罗远飞 slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sandro Galishoff was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, 龙振奕 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Fabio Auer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabio Auer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 龙振奕's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Fabio Auer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 罗远飞, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Gary Ingram's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 潘乐益 in the 65th minute. The corner ended in 罗远飞 almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Austria's Fabio Auer did a great save. In the 67th minute of the game Emil Seidler made a throw-in which Sandro Galishoff played forward. After 68 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Marvin Harrer. In the 72nd minute, Sandro Galishoff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Gary Ingram's 陆永谦 got control of the ball when Fabio Schneider tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gary Ingram's 龙振奕 got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Austria's goal looked a bit too open when 庄岚兴 came free, but Fabio Auer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, 龙振奕 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Auer was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The throw-in from Emil Seidler in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Gary Ingram's 蒋义夕. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, 龙振奕 put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fabio Auer. If 龙振奕 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 97th minute 罗远飞 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Auer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gary Ingram's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
