The wind increased when Dolf Schoonderwoerd made the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute, The Underdogs's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Siricio Liotta fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of The Underdogs booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zaccheo Andolina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Jan Wessel made a huge save. 84 minutes into the match, Italy's Siricio Liotta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Wessel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute Piearres Olalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Italy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
