Tang Sha Xu ran back to his position shaking his head. 21 minutes into the match, OZDEMIR FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cacey 武磊 came free, but Ederono Vilardell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tang Sha Xu got free with Rene Higuita in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tang Sha Xu might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rene Higuita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tang Sha Xu ran back to his position shaking his head. Club Ibiza's Rene Higuita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Club Ibiza from getting a goal against them. Rene Higuita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tang Sha Xu in the 33rd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, OZDEMIR FC's Tang Sha Xu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rene Higuita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Ederono Vilardell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Fonso in the 44th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Fonso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Mariano Ireno in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by OZDEMIR FC's Thomás Vollmar. Tang Sha Xu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gelu Cozmâncă made in the 86th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Faustino Asprilla. If Tang Sha Xu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rene Higuita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tang Sha Xu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. OZDEMIR FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
