Ciriaco Olivar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Fabricio Angileri hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Luis Rumaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 13th minute of play forced COSQUIN SFC's goalkeeper Ciriaco Olivar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Lucas Beltrán sent off a good shot on target. Ciriaco Olivar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Lars Meesters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Fabricio Angileri dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnout Reekers, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Beltrán in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. COSQUIN SFC's Ciriaco Olivar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute Well-Well Chițan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 43rd minute of play forced COSQUIN SFC's goalkeeper Ciriaco Olivar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Rumaldo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

David Eikelkamp charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Eikelkamp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Beltrán in the 55th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ciriaco Olivar came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 57th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciriaco Olivar. Ciriaco Olivar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Lars Meesters might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciriaco Olivar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lars Meesters ran back to his position shaking his head. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Ciriaco Olivar made a huge save. 75 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciriaco Olivar. COSQUIN SFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. 77 minutes into the match, COSQUIN SFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Ciriaco Olivar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Ciriaco Olivar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. COSQUIN SFC's Ciriaco Olivar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Kees Mooiweer to score against Ciriaco Olivar in COSQUIN SFC's goal. 1-5 after 85 minutes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Rumaldo in the 90th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than COSQUIN SFC throughout the match.
