The Serbia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zvezdan Nedeljkovic should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiaguinho Luz in the 52nd minute of play. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiaguinho Luz's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After having played for 64 minutes, Tiaguinho Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MUSHIBA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiaguinho Luz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. MUSHIBA FC's Régis Mineiro was substituted for Raí Nogueira. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by MUSHIBA FC's Tiaguinho Luz. But to his dismay, Tiaguinho Luz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 71st minute Tiaguinho Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Serbia's goal looked a bit too open when Tiaguinho Luz came free, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serbia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After a rather tough play, Serbia's Jovan Borisov got a free kick in the 90th minute. Tiaguinho Luz might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiaguinho Luz ran back to his position shaking his head.
