The audience thought a goal was coming when Radoslav Ivanković got free with Vavrinec Holub in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Radoslav Ivanković scored 2-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vavrinec Holub, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Denis Dostal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Vlaho Modrah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Erik Jilek came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Czech Republic fans jumped to their feet. Kanarinci's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erik Jilek ran over to the corner to take the kick. Erik Jilek made a great header on Czech Republic's corner, it was just that Kanarinci's Vlaho Modrah managed to reach the ball for a save. 69 minutes into the match, Kanarinci's goalkeeper Vlaho Modrah had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alan Rezek. Kanarinci walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
