The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nippur de Lagash 2 the free kick. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Lehen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes in the game Sergio Dantae did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Casimiro Cordarell. 13 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Lehen came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nippur de Lagash 2! Nippur de Lagash 2:s Tito Chayo showed great skill when he stopped Frank Sachs:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 25th minute. Tommy Kahn was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Israel Oliviero. Willy Stieler hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute of the match Germany got a corner. Nippur de Lagash 2's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Sachs ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Malte Schiele got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tito Chayo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Segundo Oro scored 2-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casimiro Cordarell in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute, Frank Sachs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tito Chayo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Tito Chayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Segundo Oro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Oliviero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the match, Israel Oliviero notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Oliviero in the 61st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Tito Chayo in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Germany booed when Nippur de Lagash 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Dantae didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Albin Holweck hit a great ball. After 78 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. In the 79th minute Israel Oliviero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Israel Oliviero made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Sixto Ariando kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Frank Sachs took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tito Chayo. Nippur de Lagash 2's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Tito Chayo made a huge save. After 92 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Cordarell in the 93rd minute of play. Nippur de Lagash 2's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
