After a rather tough play, Legia Warszawa 【L】's Mariusz Jop got a free kick in the 4th minute. Vavrinec Holub stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cezary Kucharski's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marek Sagan got free with Vavrinec Holub in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Czech Republic from getting a goal against them. Lech Latkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Dostal in the 12th minute of the match. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezary Kucharski in the 16th minute of play. Bohumir Kohout hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marek Sagan got free with Vavrinec Holub in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Legia Warszawa 【L】's Cezary Kucharski was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 19th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Cezary Kucharski came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Legia Warszawa 【L】 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cezary Kucharski couldn't finish the play. After 25 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Kvetoslav Janku. After 26 played minutes, Legia Warszawa 【L】's Bogdan Poreda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Legia Warszawa 【L】 reached it. After a rather tough play, Legia Warszawa 【L】's Jacek Kazimierz got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 34th play minute Cezary Kucharski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vavrinec Holub. 2-0. Kvetoslav Janku kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Poreda in the 38th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Legia Warszawa 【L】's Marek Sagan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vavrinec Holub. That made the score 3-0 after 40 minutes of play. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Legia Warszawa 【L】's Lech Porajewski. But to his dismay, Lech Porajewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cezary Kucharski made a kick off. Mariusz Jop kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Lech Porajewski took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After 56 minutes, Valdemar Turecek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Czech Republic and the Legia Warszawa 【L】 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valdemar Turecek kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Sagan in the 59th minute of play. After 62 minutes, Cezary Kucharski made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 65 minutes into the match, Cezary Kucharski notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Legia Warszawa 【L】 made a substitution. Roman Kosecki replaced Lech Porajewski. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Kosecki, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Legia Warszawa 【L】's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bogdan Poreda in the 74th minute. After taking down the ball on Legia Warszawa 【L】's corner Bogdan Poreda fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vavrinec Holub quite easily take care of the ball. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Sagan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute Cezary Kucharski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Legia Warszawa 【L】's Marek Sagan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vavrinec Holub made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. There was no doubt that Legia Warszawa 【L】 were the better team. Legia Warszawa 【L】's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
