Yan Le's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abelardo Erlantz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Cesar Ruy kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of La Vuelta del Malon booed when FUTEBOL ARTE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bai Yang Lang didn't get a good kick on the ball. FUTEBOL ARTE's Margus Niilus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Duarte in the 12th minute of play. Margus Niilus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Ruy in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Vítor Peixoto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abelardo Erlantz. La Vuelta del Malon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vítor Peixoto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. FUTEBOL ARTE's Yan Le got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Julio Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Vuelta del Malon's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Margus Niilus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abelardo Erlantz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Abelardo Erlantz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Peixoto in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Vítor Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Erlantz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Peixoto in the 45th minute of play forced La Vuelta del Malon's goalkeeper Abelardo Erlantz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half FUTEBOL ARTE were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vítor Peixoto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abelardo Erlantz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Peixoto in the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, La Vuelta del Malon's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Peixoto came free, but Abelardo Erlantz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, La Vuelta del Malon's Abelardo Erlantz got control of the ball when Yan Le tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abelardo Erlantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Pirani in the 83rd minute of play. Julio Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 88th minute, Vítor Peixoto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abelardo Erlantz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesar Ruy during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
