The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute of the match, José Maria Ramalho got a very nice opportunity to score, but André Luiz Reis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Miguel Lito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 7 minutes into the match, Quebra Ossos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Lito came free, but Rafa Vianna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Sangue nos Zóio's goalkeeper André Luiz Reis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Dante. In the 14th match minute, Sangue nos Zóio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisinho Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Sangue nos Zóio getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Eustaquio Corderro hit a great ball. Valer Ichimescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but André Luiz Reis made a huge save. André Luiz Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valer Ichimescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Sangue nos Zóio's goal looked a bit too open when Valer Ichimescu came free, but André Luiz Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Valer Ichimescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quebra Ossos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Eustaquio Corderro made in the 25th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Paul Silva immediately put the ball in play. Rafa Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Lito in the 29th minute of the match. Rafa Vianna came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Sangue nos Zóio's Miguel Lito. But to his dismay, Miguel Lito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Maria Ramalho in the 34th minute of play forced Sangue nos Zóio's goalkeeper André Luiz Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafa Vianna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Lito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Fernandes charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mario Fernandes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes Quebra Ossos FC got a freekick which was hit by Mario Fernandes. The Quebra Ossos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sangue nos Zóio were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Miguel Lito made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Lito in the 53rd minute of play forced Quebra Ossos FC's goalkeeper Rafa Vianna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafa Vianna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Lito, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Miguel Lito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sangue nos Zóio's André Luiz Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valer Ichimescu in the 66th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sangue nos Zóio's zone, Valer Ichimescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Luiz Reis came out of the goal and Valer Ichimescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, Quebra Ossos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Lito came free, but Rafa Vianna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Quebra Ossos FC's Valer Ichimescu in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sangue nos Zóio's goalie prevented a goal. André Luiz Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valer Ichimescu in the 84th minute of play. Quebra Ossos FC's Wiliam Goiano was substituted for Jaime Dante. Quebra Ossos FC's David Marquez was substituted for José Maria Ramalho. André Luiz Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorival Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute of the match Alex de Barros sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafa Vianna skillfully saved the ball. The Quebra Ossos FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sangue nos Zóio's performance. The match ended with a win for Sangue nos Zóio.
