In the 17th minute Marin Zbuchea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinando Andreoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes, Oliver Dejonckheere mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Café DE PLOEG and the F.C. YKE players grew even worse after the yellow card. Café DE PLOEG's Ferdinando Andreoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Oblemenco in the 20th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Café DE PLOEG got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Dejonckheere. Salih Asalet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vasile Ike read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 minutes, Benedict Van Huele mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Café DE PLOEG and the F.C. YKE players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Café DE PLOEG getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Benedict Van Huele hit a great ball. F.C. YKE's Vasile Ike proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. YKE from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, Marin Zbuchea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 43 minutes on the clock, Maxim-Alexander Ike commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 43rd match minute, F.C. YKE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxim-Alexander Ike to maneuver through the defense. Salih Asalet was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 45th minute. Café DE PLOEG's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Vasile Ike successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marin Zbuchea to strike the kick off in the second half. When Marin Zbuchea came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the F.C. YKE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marin Zbuchea couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute Philip Van Den Eijnde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasile Ike saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdinando Andreoli was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgar Oblemenco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 59 minute of play. Vasile Ike made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salih Asalet in the 63rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henri Van Hespe in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vasile Ike prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Benedict Van Huele was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. F.C. YKE made a substitution. Adam Caranică replaced Marin Zbuchea. After 75 played minutes Café DE PLOEG got a freekick which was hit by Benedict Van Huele. A hard shot by Edgar Oblemenco from long distance, 76 minutes into the match, got Ferdinando Andreoli's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. F.C. YKE's Vasile Ike played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibaut Kuppens in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, F.C. YKE's Olimpiu Oloieru dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Adam Caranică sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Café DE PLOEG's Ferdinando Andreoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Caranică in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. F.C. YKE walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
