A collision led to Valette Stars getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Saul Eriz hit a great ball. Maurice Crochard hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Gabriel Vermeşan might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adrien Tanneau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Vermeşan ran back to his position shaking his head. Emerald's Gabriel Vermeşan got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valette Stars's Adrien Tanneau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Valette Stars from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, Gabriel Vermeşan notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Valette Stars's Adrien Tanneau. Adrien Tanneau was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adrien Tanneau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Vermeşan's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Rafail Rusev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Vermeşan in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrien Tanneau saved Valette Stars from getting behind. Adrien Tanneau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Vermeşan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionel Găvănescu in the 39th minute of play forced Valette Stars's goalkeeper Adrien Tanneau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ionel Găvănescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrien Tanneau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ionel Găvănescu was the one to do the kick off. Nichifor Nicolae made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafail Rusev in the 52nd minute. If Gabriel Vermeşan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Vermeşan in the 55th minute of play forced Valette Stars's goalkeeper Adrien Tanneau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 played minutes Valette Stars got a freekick which was hit by Dimitri Armbruster. Valette Stars's Rafail Rusev got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iacob Urdoi hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Emerald's Flavius Stoicea was substituted for Ionel Găvănescu. Adrien Tanneau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Vermeşan in the 88th minute of the match.
