Mattis Magic Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgar Oblemenco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 23 minutes into the game, Filip Deput was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mattis Magic Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. YKE the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Mattis Magic Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Deput to maneuver through the defense. Mariusz Peczkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicodim Zbârcea in the 24th minute of the match. If Edgar Oblemenco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petruț Drăgoescu got a throw-in 30 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Daniel Lunca. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Oblemenco in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariusz Peczkowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Mattis Magic Team's Wieslaw Czempa got a free kick in the 35th minute. Mariusz Peczkowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar Oblemenco in the 36th minute. Mariusz Peczkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicodim Zbârcea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the game, Daniel Lunca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Mariusz Peczkowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 45th minute, Piotr Rzeszutko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Mattis Magic Team's zone, Edgar Oblemenco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariusz Peczkowski came out of the goal and Edgar Oblemenco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mariusz Peczkowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Avram Chiru's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Mariusz Peczkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Lunca, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After a rather tough play, F.C. YKE's Edgar Oblemenco got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Wieslaw Czempa's late challenge caught a F.C. YKE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wieslaw Czempa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mattis Magic Team getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Wieslaw Czempa hit a great ball. If Edgar Oblemenco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 66thth minute of the game Avram Chiru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mattis Magic Team's Mariusz Peczkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of F.C. YKE booed when Mattis Magic Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Czerner didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mattis Magic Team's zone, Daniel Lunca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariusz Peczkowski came out of the goal and Daniel Lunca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mattis Magic Team fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! After 94 played minutes F.C. YKE got a freekick which was hit by Ionică Ike. F.C. YKE's Helmuth Duckadam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. YKE from getting a goal against them. F.C. YKE's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
