The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Cormoranii -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valer Stăniloaie to maneuver through the defense. After 3 played minutes LA Lord Perez got a freekick which was hit by Ennio Capasso. Ettore Barone kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The supporters of LA Lord Perez booed when Cormoranii -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gary Kasparov didn't get a good kick on the ball. LA Lord Perez's Ennio Capasso got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Cormoranii -MM-'s goalkeeper Tudor Urdăreanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvaro Napoleone. Nicolae Drăgoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Fedele Di Berardino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fedele Di Berardino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Negru in the 17th minute of play. When Ettore Barone fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA Lord Perez's protests and gave Ettore Barone a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebiu Godeanu in the 19th minute of play forced LA Lord Perez's goalkeeper Fedele Di Berardino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LA Lord Perez's Fedele Di Berardino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valer Stăniloaie in the 22nd minute of play. Franco Pietropaolo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Ion Stroiescu kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. With a little luck, Cormoranii -MM-'s Tudor Urdăreanu got control of the ball when Cristoforo Scalia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cormoranii -MM-'s Eusebiu Godeanu got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tudor Urdăreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ennio Capasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. A collision led to Cormoranii -MM- getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Eugen Sava hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvaro Napoleone to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicolae Drăgoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Fedele Di Berardino made a huge save. Fedele Di Berardino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebiu Godeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eusebiu Godeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th match minute, Cormoranii -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolae Drăgoi to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Ettore Barone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Negru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Fedele Di Berardino made a huge save. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind LA Lord Perez's goalkeeper Fedele Di Berardino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Cormoranii -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Barone came free, but Tudor Urdăreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rdth minute of the game Eusebiu Godeanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LA Lord Perez's Fedele Di Berardino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. LA Lord Perez's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Eugen Sava scored to the left of an out of position Fedele Di Berardino, making the score, 0-1. Fedele Di Berardino was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Eugen Sava capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eugen Sava really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Cormoranii -MM-'s Tudor Urdăreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Napoleone in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Negru in the 89th minute of play forced LA Lord Perez's goalkeeper Fedele Di Berardino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 minutes, Luca Comarnescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cormoranii -MM- and the LA Lord Perez players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cormoranii -MM-! If Eusebiu Godeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Cormoranii -MM- players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
