A throw-in in the 17th minute of the game was made by Nils Gielis with Gaizkine Ibern as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Rius Mascaran slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ovidio Roland. That made the score 1-1 after 23 minutes of play. Hermann Hesse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Meder Muños in the 27th minute of play. Ovidio Roland made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Rius Mascaran sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Intimos de Reynoso's Ovidio Roland got control of the ball when Rius Mascaran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Intimos de Reynoso's attentive Rodrigo De Paul managed to snatch the ball when Araoz Solanos made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. 42 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's Meder Muños sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hermann Hesse narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rius Mascaran was the one to do the kick off. With a left leg Hermann Hesse saved Deportivo Popolizio FBC from getting behind. Ovidio Roland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torbjørn Trondsen went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score.
