But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rius Mascaran couldn't finish the play. TiGrEs Fx's Franc Merlot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rius Mascaran in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Rius Mascaran made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Popolizio FBC's zone, Gilberto Rancaño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermann Hesse came out of the goal and Gilberto Rancaño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mister Peet hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, TiGrEs Fx's Mister Peet got a free kick in the 58th minute. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Torbjørn Trondsen put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Franc Merlot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olly Morgan in the 68th minute of play forced TiGrEs Fx's goalkeeper Franc Merlot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Hermann Hesse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blasi Asas in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute of the match, Torbjørn Trondsen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Franc Merlot was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Franc Merlot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibor Nyilasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TiGrEs Fx's Franc Merlot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torbjørn Trondsen in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute Olly Morgan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franc Merlot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
