Loreto Palanques made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Enrique Cassaretto sent off a good shot on target. Enrique Cassaretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Loreto Palanques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Loreto Palanques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A well-hit corner resulted in Aureliano Buendia heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Enrique Cassaretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Loreto Palanques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Cassaretto in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Loreto Palanques saved AlmaToran from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 18th minute of play forced AlmaToran's goalkeeper Loreto Palanques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the AlmaToran defense, Enrique Cassaretto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loreto Palanques. The AlmaToran fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loreto Palanques should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute, Enrique Cassaretto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Municipal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 27 minutes into the game, Enrique Cassaretto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Loreto Palanques was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Cassaretto in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loreto Palanques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Loreto Palanques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Cassaretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 36 minutes, Enrique Cassaretto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Municipal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Cassaretto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 39th minute of play forced AlmaToran's goalkeeper Loreto Palanques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Enrique Cassaretto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Loreto Palanques. AlmaToran's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Cassaretto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. When CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AlmaToran's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

George Forsyth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chan Mariny, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Arotza Dobarral made a great header on AlmaToran's corner, it was just that CD Municipal's George Forsyth managed to reach the ball for a save. The CD Municipal fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. CD Municipal's Tulio Andinyach was substituted for Evtim Kúrdzhev. 61 minutes into the match, AlmaToran's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Cassaretto came free, but Loreto Palanques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Hipolito Ponce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the game, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Loreto Palanques made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Enrique Cassaretto scored 7-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Loreto Palanques, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 76 minutes into the match, Enrique Cassaretto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Loreto Palanques. AlmaToran's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Cassaretto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. The audience was convinced that Enrique Cassaretto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Loreto Palanques was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. 82 minutes into the match, Enrique Cassaretto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Loreto Palanques. AlmaToran's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Cassaretto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. 86 minutes into the game, Cris Tellado threw the ball into play from the sideline. CD Municipal's Federico Puja quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Enrique Cassaretto might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Loreto Palanques. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Cassaretto ran back to his position shaking his head. 89 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Loreto Palanques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Enrique Cassaretto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 91st minute of play forced AlmaToran's goalkeeper Loreto Palanques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hipolito Ponce hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Enrique Cassaretto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the AlmaToran players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CD Municipal.
