The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Alianza Trujillo's Marcelito Vivar in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RED STAR FC.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 11th minute, Szilveszter Szegh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelito Vivar in the 13th minute of play forced RED STAR FC.'s goalkeeper Brais Morales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Phelipe Marcos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RED STAR FC.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alianza Trujillo the free kick. Marcelito Vivar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 18 minutes into the match, RED STAR FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcelito Vivar came free, but Brais Morales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Marcelito Vivar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brais Morales was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Brais Morales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelito Vivar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelito Vivar scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brais Morales, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute Marcelito Vivar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brais Morales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brais Morales stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Puch's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Brais Morales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Puch in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute of the match Alianza Trujillo got a corner. RED STAR FC.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Szilveszter Szegh ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Szilveszter Szegh almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but RED STAR FC.'s Brais Morales did a great save. Alianza Trujillo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Szilveszter Szegh in the 43rd minute. Szilveszter Szegh made a great header on Alianza Trujillo's corner, it was just that RED STAR FC.'s Brais Morales managed to reach the ball for a save. Brais Morales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelito Vivar in the 44th minute of play. A collision led to RED STAR FC. getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jayvier Monteros hit a great ball. After 47 minutes, Marcelito Vivar made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. RED STAR FC.'s Brais Morales tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enrico Almodovar to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcelito Vivar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brais Morales having to make a save. 54 minutes into the match, Alianza Trujillo's Marcelito Vivar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brais Morales narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 59 minutes into the game, Marcelito Vivar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Brais Morales. Marcelito Vivar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Pudes Vilas might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brais Morales. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pudes Vilas ran back to his position shaking his head. 63 minutes into the game, Pudes Vilas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Brais Morales was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Szilveszter Szegh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Brais Morales made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Alianza Trujillo's Brais Morales threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pudes Vilas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pudes Vilass short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Brais Morales to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Brais Morales made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Pudes Vilas sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd match minute, Alianza Trujillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szilveszter Szegh to maneuver through the defense. In the 76thth minute of the game Pudes Vilas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RED STAR FC.'s Brais Morales was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brais Morales stood somewhat misplaced when Pudes Vilas came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 78 minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Lapurdi Boix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RED STAR FC.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Lapurdi Boix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Pudes Vilas made a precise shot to the right of Brais Morales. RED STAR FC.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. After 93 minutes of play, Alianza Trujillo's José Puch made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brais Morales was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Alianza Trujillo fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Alianza Trujillo's Pudes Vilas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alianza Trujillo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
