Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Samuele Kunz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hippolyte Salois charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hippolyte Salois the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd minute, Hippolyte Salois hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to AFC Richmond getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Brett Hull hit a great ball. Hias Nüssli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brett Hull's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. After 13 played minutes Switzerland got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Maurer. Lupe Tituss short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Hias Nüssli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lupe Titus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Hias Nüssli made a huge save. Rémy Peralta hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Samuele Kunz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thaddeus Paleov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Lupe Titus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hias Nüssli. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 30th match minute, AFC Richmond was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hippolyte Salois to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, AFC Richmond's goal looked a bit too open when Samuele Kunz came free, but Thaddeus Paleov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brett Hull in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hias Nüssli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Hias Nüssli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lupe Titus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Hias Nüssli made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 50th match minute, AFC Richmond was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gale Murry to maneuver through the defense. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brett Hull in the 60th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Fridolin Neumeister was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Switzerland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC Richmond the free kick. Fridolin Neumeister hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, AFC Richmond's Lupe Titus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hias Nüssli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hippolyte Salois scored 2-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hias Nüssli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, AFC Richmond's Hippolyte Salois got a free kick in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brett Hull in the 80th minute of play forced Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brett Hull took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hias Nüssli. Hias Nüssli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The AFC Richmond players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
