Roger Bannister recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bizen Eguia in the 12th minute of play forced U21 Macedonia's goalkeeper Fidan Tanasievski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorio Laje came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Macedonia's Momčilo Janič. But to his dismay, Momčilo Janič quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 17 minutes of play, U21 Macedonia's Boris Hristov made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dorio Laje was left in no man's land by his defense there! Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Fidan Tanasievski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 21st minute, Siniša Vangelovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roger Bannister could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Fidan Tanasievski made a huge save. U21 Venezuela's Dorio Laje played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Hristov in the 23rd minute of play. Roger Bannister hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Bizen Eguia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bizen Eguia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of U21 Macedonia booed when U21 Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosio Tineo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dorio Laje took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Hristov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, U21 Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Momčilo Janič came free, but Dorio Laje reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. U21 Macedonia's Fidan Tanasievski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Macedonia from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as U21 Venezuela's Roger Bannister slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fidan Tanasievski. That made the score 1-3 after 37 minutes of play. Bizen Eguia struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Fidan Tanasievski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Venezuela. 45 minutes into the match, U21 Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Migjen Mena came free, but Dorio Laje reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Siniša Vangelovski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U21 Macedonia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Venezuela the free kick. A collision led to U21 Macedonia getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Siniša Vangelovski hit a great ball. Ximun Zaldos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Fidan Tanasievski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Bannister, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Migjen Mena got free with Dorio Laje in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, U21 Venezuela's Dorio Laje got control of the ball when Momčilo Janič tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dorio Laje made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Migjen Mena in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Bannister in the 63rd minute of play forced U21 Macedonia's goalkeeper Fidan Tanasievski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roger Bannister in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidan Tanasievski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fidan Tanasievski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roger Bannister's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, U21 Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Migjen Mena came free, but Dorio Laje reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 72 in the game by Migjen Mena from a close distance when the talented Dorio Laje managed to make a qualified save. U21 Venezuela's players were relieved. U21 Venezuela made a substitution. Timothy Flyte replaced Cristian Avina. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roger Bannister in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidan Tanasievski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paskal Partenijev hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Ariton Krstevski hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. U21 Macedonia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
