After 16 minutes, Sven Krakouer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Racing FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. With an all-out effort, Racing FC's Tommy Kahn threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 彭辉义, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when 彭辉义 got free with Tommy Kahn in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute of the match Ahmet Kutsi Kartal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 彭辉义 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Tommy Kahn when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The wind increased when Albin Holweck made the kick off in the second half. Darron Candido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, 彭辉义 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing FC's supporters rose to their feet, but 彭辉义 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albin Holweck's late challenge caught a Racing FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albin Holweck helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Albin Holweck hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Darron Candido came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Racing FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
