A sloppy throw-in by Gust Ennemans in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by RamPa Football Club's Marcelo Gallardo. Paul Ramon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 17th minute of the match. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul Ramon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RamPa Football Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Long Ke Yang in the 25th minute. The supporters of Netherlands booed when RamPa Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Nikola didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the RamPa Football Club defense, Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paul Ramon. The RamPa Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul Ramon should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the game, Ramon Pujol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RamPa Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. The supporters of Netherlands booed when RamPa Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Pujol didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by RamPa Football Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. RamPa Football Club's Long Ke Yang quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lars Meesters, made in the 43rd minute of the game. A throw-in in the 46th minute of the game was made by Kees Mooiweer with Gijsbert ter Kruimer as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after RamPa Football Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. Gabriel Paletta thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Paul Ramon, a very annoying self made goal in the 49th minute which led to 1-2. After the first half Netherlands were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicu Alexandrescu made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Long Ke Yang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 55 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Kees Mooiweer. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Paul Ramon made a huge save. RamPa Football Club's Marino Pacheco was substituted for Bernardinho Bala. RamPa Football Club's Arda Nurettin was substituted for Nicu Alexandrescu. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Paul Ramon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gust Ennemans made in the 72nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gustaaf Groeneveldt however managed to control. 77 minutes into the game, RamPa Football Club's Arda Nurettin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Gust Ennemans hit a great ball. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arda Nurettin, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, RamPa Football Club's Ramon Pujol got a free kick in the 85th minute. Gust Ennemans hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Arda Nurettin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 94 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Arda Nurettin came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
