Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Hungary's Antal Valentin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Donald Fenwick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antal Valentin in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donald Fenwick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Carballeira in the 10th minute of play. After 11 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ronny Theobold who took care of the corner kick. Donald Fenwick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 13th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Ronny Theobold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronny Theobold during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Major Barna in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donald Fenwick saved Memphis Grizzlies from getting behind. Tony Jones hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Vinicio Carballeira sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 27 minutes, Vinicio Carballeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Memphis Grizzlies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinicio Carballeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinicio Carballeira got free with Fodor Daniel in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vinicio Carballeira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Vinicio Carballeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Memphis Grizzlies fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Donald Fenwick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 38th minute of play. Donald Fenwick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Memphis Grizzlies's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Donald Fenwick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinicio Carballeira to make the kick off. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Carballeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Vinicio Carballeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Vinicio Carballeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute Joachim Garate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Joachim Garate came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Memphis Grizzlies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joachim Garate couldn't finish the play. Memphis Grizzlies's Ty Hislop was substituted for Ian Prutton. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Donald Fenwick in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Donald Fenwick was a little too slow when Major Barna got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 80th minute, Romeo Crocker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Memphis Grizzlies's Joachim Garate managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Takacs Tibor in the 83 minute of the game. In the 84th minute Stuart Banks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donald Fenwick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Takacs Tibor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Donald Fenwick. Takacs Tibor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2.
