The audience thought a goal was coming when Maicon Arruda got free with Keld Paulsen in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gildo Furtado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 13thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but America FC's Gildo Furtado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gildo Furtado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 14th minute of play. If Maicon Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chris Nygaard struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Gildo Furtado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. Maicon Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Maicon Arruda sent off a good shot on target. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chris Nygaard to strike the kick off in the second half. Mikkel Wulff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gildo Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maicon Arruda in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a free kick in the 58th minute. Norberto Jacinto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Keld Paulsen. Denmark's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Denmark booed when America FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 69th minute of play forced America FC's goalkeeper Gildo Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 played minutes America FC got a freekick which was hit by Arí Silva. America FC's Guilherme Donatello pulled a muscle in his back after 93 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 93 minutes, Lars Steen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Denmark and the America FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lars Steen hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Norberto Jacinto lost his temper 97 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in America FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 97th minute. Penalty! Chris Nygaard placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out!
