Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Chris Nygaard made the kick off which started today's match. Eriberto Queirós didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lars Steen went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Mikkel Wulff charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mikkel Wulff the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sérgio Jacinto in the 24th minute. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sérgio Jacinto in the 29th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Bertram Svenningsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute Eliseu Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Adriano Panella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adriano Panella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 40 minutes into the game, Eusébio Castro threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Theis Winther quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Eriberto Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Doğaner Çokay to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Eliseu Brasil made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Denmark's Olav Graversen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eusébio Castro, made in the 56th minute of the game. Engenheiros da Vila's Eriberto Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 57th minute of play. Engenheiros da Vila's Sérgio Jacinto got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doğaner Çokay in the 63rd minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Engenheiros da Vila's Sérgio Jacinto got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute of the game Eusébio Castro made a throw-in which Ismael Atarratze played forward. The crowd rose to their feet as Bertram Svenningsen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eriberto Queirós. That made the score 4-2 in the 86 minute of play. In the 91st minute, Bertram Svenningsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denmark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Engenheiros da Vila's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
