Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off which started today's match. When Egbert Nijveldt fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Netherlands's protests and gave Egbert Nijveldt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Egbert Nijveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moise Bobeanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. After 13 minutes Netherlands's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gustavo Scarpa who took care of the corner kick. David Eikelkamp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Winszman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 24th match minute, GiaSiRo 08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Sá to maneuver through the defense. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Scarpa, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Winszman saved GiaSiRo 08 from getting behind. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

GiaSiRo 08 made a substitution. Dennis Giusti replaced Gustavo Scarpa. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moise Bobeanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Winszman having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in GiaSiRo 08 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Sebastian Winszman, was totally fooled by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who 59 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Rudolf Bragovskiy kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, GiaSiRo 08's goalkeeper Sebastian Winszman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Eikelkamp. Sebastian Winszman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Moise Bobeanu came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, GiaSiRo 08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Bobeanu to maneuver through the defense. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 85 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Wim Wilmes. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Bas Tuitert got a free kick in the 88th minute. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birkan Kayra in the 89th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Birkan Kayra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnout Reekers quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Birkan Kayra kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Sebastian Winszman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
