The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marco Fonseca got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Switzerland's Hias Nüssli got control of the ball when Marco Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Max Verstappen kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. The supporters of MILAN F C booed when Switzerland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Thomi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hias Nüssli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Fernando Faria made in the 9th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Benê Capixaba immediately put the ball in play. Benê Capixaba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Hias Nüssli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jacinto Maurer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Benê Capixaba in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Switzerland's Fridolin Neumeister. Marco Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Hias Nüssli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hias Nüssli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Fernando Faria's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Switzerland from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute, Júlio Albuquerque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Marco Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of Hias Nüssli. Switzerland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. A collision led to MILAN F C getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Marco Fonseca hit a great ball. Marquinhos Xavier scored 2-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hias Nüssli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th minute, Marco Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of Hias Nüssli. Switzerland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Switzerland's Eric Thomi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Júlio Albuquerque in the 43 minute of the game. Benê Capixaba who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Hias Nüssli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuele Kunz was the one to do the kick off. Benê Capixaba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Fonseca came free, but Hias Nüssli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MILAN F C! In the 63rd minute of the match Switzerland got a corner. MILAN F C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Samuele Kunz ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Switzerland's corner Samuele Kunz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Karl Maubert quite easily take care of the ball. Carlos Fernando Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hias Nüssli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hias Nüssli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Fonseca in the 70th minute of play. Carlos Fernando Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hias Nüssli having to interfere. After some careless play in the Switzerland defense, Marco Fonseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hias Nüssli. The Switzerland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hias Nüssli should have stopped the shot. Carlos Fernando Faria took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hias Nüssli. Hias Nüssli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Rodrigo von Känel charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo von Känel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of MILAN F C booed when Switzerland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo von Känel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 83 played minutes, MILAN F C's Benê Capixaba shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hias Nüssli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MILAN F C reached it. The audience was convinced that Marco Fonseca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hias Nüssli was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. After 85 played minutes Switzerland got a freekick which was hit by Timo Siegmund. After 90 minutes, Marco Fonseca made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Switzerland's Samuele Kunz got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Carlos Fernando Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
