Rafael Riedl didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Gavril Bucur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gavril Bucur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After some careless play in the Austria defense, Gavril Bucur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Auer. The Austria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Auer should have stopped the shot. Austria's Fabio Auer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Austria from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Austria:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C Ａ R D I N Ａ L:s goal. After having played for 22 minutes, Sandro Galishoff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Austria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandro Galishoff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sergiu Panaitescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Fabio Auer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Austria's Sandro Galishoff got a free kick in the 24th minute. Gavril Bucur took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Auer. Fabio Auer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Fabio Auer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gavril Bucur in the 32nd minute. Károly Bodrogi charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Károly Bodrogi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes C Ａ R D I N Ａ L got a freekick which was hit by Károly Bodrogi. With his leg Fabio Auer managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Gavril Bucur fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 40th play minute Gavril Bucur came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fabio Auer. 5-0. Fabio Schneider charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabio Schneider the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Fabio Schneider hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when Sandro Galishoff made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's zone, Fabio Schneider stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Joost Werner came out of the goal and Fabio Schneider tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Austria's goal looked a bit too open when Gavril Bucur came free, but Fabio Auer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Riedl kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L made a substitution. Peppe Mascara replaced Sergiu Panaitescu. Gabríel Cristofor scored 6-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Auer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 64th minute Gabríel Cristofor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Auer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Gabríel Cristofor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Auer was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabríel Cristofor in the 73rd minute of play forced Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Auer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabríel Cristofor's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Fabio Auer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabríel Cristofor in the 88th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Austria defense, Gabríel Cristofor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Auer. The Austria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Auer should have stopped the shot.
