The score was now 1-0. 14 minutes into the game, Mesut Özil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Greenbay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Switzerland the free kick. In the 14th minute, Mesut Özil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Will Alderson came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Greenbay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Will Alderson couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the game, Will Alderson lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Hias Nüssli. 21 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Firmino came free, but Hias Nüssli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Greenbay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Will Alderson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute of the match Greenbay got a corner. Switzerland's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ruben Sheehan ran over to the corner to take the kick. 34 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruben Sheehan. Will Alderson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hias Nüssli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Switzerland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Allemann to maneuver through the defense. Hias Nüssli was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roberto Firmino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 40 minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roberto Firmino to strike the kick off in the second half. Will Alderson struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Hias Nüssli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Greenbay. If Roberto Firmino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Firmino might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hias Nüssli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roberto Firmino ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 64th minute, Pawel Golanski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vecdi Başesgioğlu couldn't finish the play. After having played for 84 minutes, Vecdi Başesgioğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Greenbay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vecdi Başesgioğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Ashley Ross had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hias Nüssli. Switzerland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ashley Ross was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 90 minutes into the game, Vecdi Başesgioğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Hias Nüssli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hias Nüssli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vecdi Başesgioğlu in the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, Ashley Ross cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Hias Nüssli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
