An unexpectedly hard shot by Torrey Molloy in the 5th minute of play forced Symba's goalkeeper Anis Achour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Ersin Uyguralp almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Symba's Anis Achour did a great save. 9 minutes into the match, 1948 MKS's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás San Juan came free, but Ter Stegen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás San Juan made a great header on Symba's corner, it was just that 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen managed to reach the ball for a save. Symba's Anis Achour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigan Frankson in the 12th minute of play. Barnaby Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torrey Molloy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Anis Achour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anis Achour took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigan Frankson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1948 MKS were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Symba's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ersin Uyguralp took the corner. Hatem Ben Amor thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Anis Achour, a very annoying self made goal in the 21st minute which led to 0-1. Anis Achour took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigan Frankson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ter Stegen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás San Juan in the 25th minute of the match. When Mondher Ghodbane fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Symba's protests and gave Mondher Ghodbane a yellow card for diving instead. Mondher Ghodbane kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Anis Achour took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigan Frankson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Rigan Frankson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anis Achour saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Barnaby Rogers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th match minute, Symba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mondher Ghodbane to maneuver through the defense. The referee showed Khaled Chérif the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 played minutes Symba got a freekick which was hit by Khaled Chérif. After a rather tough play, Symba's Khaled Chérif got a free kick in the 40th minute. When 1948 MKS's Rigan Frankson in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Symba's goalie prevented a goal. Mondher Ghodbane got his second yellow card in the match during the 43rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 44th match minute, Symba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mondher Ghodbane to maneuver through the defense. Torrey Molloy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half 1948 MKS were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Symba made a substitution. Sílvio Veiga replaced Khaled Chérif. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rigan Frankson made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Torrey Molloy put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Anis Achour. Torrey Molloy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anis Achour read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute Rigan Frankson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anis Achour saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anis Achour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigan Frankson, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Symba's Sílvio Veiga has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 65th minute. Ter Stegen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás San Juan, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Anis Achour made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigan Frankson in the 72nd minute of play. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
