The tension between the VB-Team and the Super Chechona FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, César Sampaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Modesto Guillen. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by VB-Team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Inocencio Froila was slow to take the kick. During this time Super Chechona FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Super Chechona FC's Alexander Simbert getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Modesto Guillen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Armindo Salgado came out and tried to block the shot, but Modesto Guillen slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 18th minute. Armindo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Guillen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severo Montrelle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervásio Severiano in the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, VB-Team's Gervásio Severiano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severo Montrelle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a rather tough play, VB-Team's Mattias Jonasson got a free kick in the 30th minute. Modesto Guillen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severo Montrelle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim de Barros in the 42nd minute of the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Modesto Guillen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Super Chechona FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Guillen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Modesto Guillen got free with Armindo Salgado in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquim de Barros was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Super Chechona FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Modesto Guillen hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Guillen came free, but Armindo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervásio Severiano in the 59th minute of play forced Super Chechona FC's goalkeeper Severo Montrelle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Gervásio Severiano notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Super Chechona FC's Severo Montrelle. Severo Montrelle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. VB-Team's Yu Ke Hong was substituted for César Sampaio. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Guillen in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by VB-Team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Inocencio Froila was slow to take the kick. During this time Super Chechona FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Super Chechona FC's corner Rogelio Tuste fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Armindo Salgado quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Gervásio Severiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severo Montrelle was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Mattias Jonasson made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Super Chechona FC's Gonzalo Romano. Armindo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Guillen, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Modesto Guillen notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of VB-Team's Armindo Salgado. Armindo Salgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the VB-Team defense, Modesto Guillen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armindo Salgado. The VB-Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armindo Salgado should have stopped the shot. The Super Chechona FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
